A customer asked if I could make her one of my signature pieces using dark stones to create an almost monochrome effect. I suggested oxidised silver with 18ct grey gold rivets, dark baroque Tahitian pearls & brilliant cut smoky quartz in preference to options such as onyx or hematite. This gave the softer effect of sepia tones rather than stark black. The end result was a beautiful piece & one very happy client.
